The ANW Special Education Interlocal has been serving the counties of Anderson, Allen, Woodson, Neosho, and Wilson since 1972. We began with 155 students and now serve well over 1,000 students in over 30 schools in conjunction with our nine partnering districts.

We employ a full spectrum of teachers, support staff, and related service personnel that provides special education services ranging from classroom support to direct speech, occupational, and physical therapies, nursing services, gifted services, adaptive physical education, social/emotional services, transition services, and others.

ANW is committed to working with all of our families and member districts to continue to provide quality special education services to the children that need them, and with as much integration into the regular education environment as possible.
