Hello from HR
Hi, I'm Kailey! Welcome to the HR hub — I'm so glad you're here.

Whether you're just joining our team, starting as a substitute, or you've been with ANW for years, this page is meant to be your one-stop spot for the resources you need. You'll find everything to help you get started — onboarding paperwork, information about your benefits, and our current staff policies and handbooks — all in one place, so you don't have to go hunting for it.

If you have any questions about your benefits, changes, or getting started, please don't hesitate to reach out. That's what I'm here for!

SUBSTITUTE RESOURCES
Important Notice Regarding Substitute Paperwork & Payroll
If you have never substituted for ANW Special Education, you must complete the new substitute paperwork (link below) so we can add you to our system. Without this information, we are unable to process payment.
Effective December 1, 2025, all district ANW servers will submit substitute reports directly to ANW for payroll processing. If we do not have your completed paperwork on file by the applicable pay period deadline, your substitute days will be moved to the next pay period. Our system requires all employee information to be entered and approved before payment can be issued.
Skyward Access & Account Setup
Skyward is the system used for payroll access and employment records.

• If you are unsure whether you already have a Skyward account or have forgotten your login credentials, please submit an IT Ticket (located in the top right-hand corner of your screen). Be sure to include the reason for your request and your email address so the IT Department can follow up with you.
• If you have never substituted for ANW Special Education, you must complete the new hire paperwork (link below) and then follow up with our HR Department at hr@anwcoop.com to ensure we have everything needed to enter you into the system.
• Once your new hire paperwork has been received and processed, you will receive an email from Skyward titled “Welcome to Skyward” with instructions to create your user account. While you may not need Skyward to submit substitute days, it is an important resource for viewing pay stubs, W-2s, and employment information.
Helpful Step-by-Step Skyward Guides
• Update Your Employee Profile Information
• View, Download, and/or Print Paystubs
If you already have a Skyward account and know your login credentials, no further action is required at this time.
If you have any questions, please contact Whitney Ikehron at wikehron@anwcoop.com.
Reporting a Workplace Injury

1. Report the incident
Notify your supervisor and Ashlynn Aikins at the Central Office as soon as possible — even if the injury seems minor.
Reporting early helps ensure timely care and proper documentation.
2. Get medical attention.
You have two options:
-
Option 1: Contact Ashlynn at the Central Office (workcomp@anwcoop.com). She'll schedule an appointment for you with the nearest approved provider.
-
Option 2: Call the 24/7 Work Comp Hotline at 866-830-5609 to speak with a doctor by phone.
Use this option if Ashlynn is unavailable.
Note: You're not required to see a doctor or call the hotline if you don't feel it's necessary. However, you must still complete and submit the Employee Incident Report.
Submission guidelines
Email the Employee Incident Report to workcomp@anwcoop.com within 3–5 days of the incident.
Submit a Supervisor Report and Eyewitness Report only if:
-
A supervising teacher was present at the time of the incident, or
-
There was a qualified eyewitness (students do not count as eyewitnesses).
Follow-up appointments. If you had an initial appointment — in person or by hotline — but haven't scheduled a follow-up:
-
Contact your adjuster directly to schedule it.
-
Don't call the hotline again for follow-ups.
