Welcome,

We are so glad you are here!

Welcome to the ANW Special Education Interlocal! Since 1972, we've proudly supported the counties of Anderson, Allen, Woodson, Neosho, and Wilson, growing from 155 students to over 1,000 across more than 30 schools.

Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff offers a wide range of services, including classroom support, speech therapy, and transition services, ensuring that every child receives the support they need.

We are committed to partnering with families and districts to provide quality special education services, fostering an inclusive environment for all students.

From the Director's Desk

Every day, our team walks into classrooms and IEP meetings across eight districts with one goal in mind: helping every child reach their full potential.

I'm proud of the work our staff does — not because it's easy, but because it matters. Special education is built on relationships: between teachers and students, families and schools, coordinators and staff. When those relationships are strong, kids thrive.

Whether you're a parent looking for support, a staff member starting your first year with us, or a district partner, I want you to know that you're not just working with an organization. You're part of a team that genuinely believes every child deserves the chance to succeed.

Thank you for being part of that work.
