ANW's Mission
It is the mission of the ANW Special Education Coop to provide quality programs and services for the disables students ns our eight participating districts in a matter that that utilizes highly qualified staff, specialized instruction, and up to date technology in an equitable manner that provides all of out students with the ability to achieve state and local standards and thus be ready to successfully enter the adult world of their choice.
ANW has a firm and unwavering belief that all children have value and must be cherished. We will work cooperatively toward our goal of establishing and maintaining approved classes and related services for all exceptional children. While in pursuit of this basic goal, each participating district will function as a full and equal partner regardless of size. We believe special education cannot and should not be developed separate and apart from regular education, and school improvement of any kind must be a cooperative effort between the personnel of the local district and the staff of the helping agency.
